In the twenty-fourth chapter of
the book of Job, we are told that with the light Yah brings to
man, there also arises a murderer who brings forth false light
in order to deceive the simple. Nowhere was this more prevalent
than when the church was yet in its infancy--nowhere is this
more obvious to the objective bible reader than the warnings
given by Christ and the Apostles that false teachers would arise
and not at some distant future date but in the day in which they
spoke. “But there were false prophets also among the people,
even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily
shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that
bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” (II
Peter 2:1)
Biblical prophecy concerning the end times has always been an area of great discussion and study. Many interpretations of the scriptures have been birthed concerning the arrival of the “antichrist”, the man of sin, in these last days. Many interpretations concerning the identity of exactly what the “abomination of desolation” is and what is its role in the last days have also been put forth. Consider this then my own interpretation of what the abomination that makes desolate is and how I arrived at my conclusions.
